To celebrate the U.S. basketball team going for Olympic Gold, we partnered with Nike Brand Design and Golden Wolf Studios to create a one-of-a-kind boutique retail experience, relaunching an equally unique shoe: The Nike Air Foamposite One. This larger than life digital sneaker box projected 4 sides of Air Foamposite One-inspired animation, visible from as far as the Bay Bridge. Inside, Sneaker Heads were greeted with trick-of-the-eye wall sized animations and 20 years of Foamposite history right beneath their feet, suspended under clear acrylic floors. The walls of the space mirrored and magnified the other-worldly contours of the shoe itself, while stalactite-like cases hung from the ceiling, revealing the newly released kicks. Plays of black and white, light and dark, glossy and matte gave the space a futuristic, yet timeless quality: part spaceship, part dream, here one moment and gone the next.
